Persistent exhaustion. A cough that won’t go away. Weight loss without an obvious explanation.

Serious illness does not always begin with a dramatic warning. Sometimes the first changes are subtle enough to blame on stress, aging, lack of sleep, or a busy schedule.

What matters is noticing when something persists, worsens, keeps returning, or simply feels unusual for you.

A cough that lasts longer than expected deserves more attention than one accompanying a brief cold. Unexplained  weight loss is different from weight loss caused by changes in diet or exercise. And persistent exhaustion that doesn’t improve with adequate rest may be worth discussing with a healthcare professional.

The goal isn’t to panic over every symptom.

It’s to recognize meaningful changes rather than automatically dismissing them.
